Land Adjoining Springfield House – Erect detached house and garage.

After discussion 5 out of 5 councillors voted in favour of the application but wished to make the following comments. a) it is hoped the brick and tiles will be in keeping with the adjacent buildings. b) there is a large area to the rear but there appears to be no access from the front. c) is the entrance wide enough to accommodate the amount of traffic that will now be entering this area?
4. PLANNING APPLICATION –
Miles End Cottage, Main Street, Rear Extension and Alterations to Dwelling for use as private residential
The plans were inspected and discussed. Four out of four councillors voted in favour of the application. However, due to the size of the project the council recommends that the Planning Committee make a site visit.
5. Other Urgent Business
The council discussed the river frontage grass adjacent to Manor House. It was agreed that a contractor would be employed to cut this grass in view of the impending judging for the Best Kept Village competition. The approximate cost for 2 cuts will be £60.
